Yea, when I look underneath my truck and see all of the purdy brownish-orange, then see pics of moregrip's undercarriage(sp?), it makes me want to cry. Almost every job involves a can of rust penetrant

I was noticing it pretty bad on my brake and fuel lines the other day...not very happy about that

salt sucks.. cab corner and both rockers I need to replace this spring.... it started as little bubbles in the paint and went to fix them.... well found out it was rusting from the inside out, pushed on the cab corner and rockers and about put my fingers through it, you would think the truck is a 20 year old truck- pretty upset about that... if you can push your metal in where its rusting your f*****

I cant even remotely push my fingers through it, I can barely pic a chip of paint off, but I can see the orangish colour coming through

I love the south.
If weather ever gets to the point of salt they might put some sand on the bridges and hills. If that isn't enough then everything closes down and we wait 1-3 days and it is all good again.
I cuss every friend that brings a car to my house to work on that came from up in salt land. I can't even imagine having to deal with that everyday.

If you guys in the south got half the weather we got, youd be shut down all season, we were down in texas few years back, starting snow a bit everything was shutting down stores businesses, we were wondering whats goin on, bad day for them is a very good nice day for us

But this weather has its advantages, its damn fun to play it

Great White North checking in here, eh? Yep, salt is no effin good for nice paint jobs, but snow and ice is badass! Think any drifter car queer in a beat up Nissan has any skills on a farmboy with dad's truck in a frosty parking lot? Hell no! I had a blast driving around on the sloppy streets yesterday with the auto 4wd button depressed! I feel for ya dude, and I think the quickie fix is the best bet for now. Make it look presentable for a trade in later on when you can afford it better.
