Default My tail lights broke off

I had noticed that the top clip holding my driver's side tail light was broken but never messed with it. Well, like a retard I got in a hurry and did a drive through car wash the other day. Well, the dryers blew my tail light off and broke the top clip on the passenger side one as well. So, I called around and got prices of the POS lights and came up with $150 EACH. Not happening here. I went out to my dad's and found some small aluminum angle 1/8" thick. It is probably 1 1/2" x 1 1/2". I cut three pieces into 3/4" width with an eyeballed hole on one side. I dremeled off the broken clips trying to keep some of the sides and then super glued the angle to the lense. After letting the heat lamp sit in front of it for about 5 minutes to assure a good hardening, I tried them out. The lights now sit closer to the body than before and it didn't cost me a thing. It was all my dad's idea but he made me go at it alone.

Also, do not let the heat lamp sit real close to the plastic, it tends to bubble up!
