Looks great. Nice workmanship.

1 question tho. That seat is obviously crushing the sub. I really don't think it's good to be putting pressure against the sub like that. It needs to be able to flex doesn't it?

good question. my installer didnt see it as an issue, but since i dont really ever have anyone back there on that seat, i drive around with it in the up position alot.

the sub moving up and down sucks air in and out of the voice coils which allows it to cool down. So driving with the seat up is a good idea. But i'd be careful with the seat down judging by the indention in that seat.

id like to see if i can mod the seat to not go down all the way, and still be safe.. without raising the seat, cuz i did the seat fold down mod, and if i raise it, the back would never stay in position.

I just noticed the sway bar bushings & other red underneath. I never seen under a SS, but did they come w/. that? If not, looks to me you put some Energy components on. If Energy, did u do all, including cab mounts?

it comes with the sway bar of course, but yeah , we did the bushing upgrade last summer. you can tell its way before i put the bilsteins on too.
i didnt do the cab mounts, but i have the upper bushing setup that i havent put in yet. im looking for new a arms so i can get them powdercoated and put the energy kit in them.

Years ago, I was workin on a 81 GP. I was going thru it. Plan was to put a 350/ 350 THM/ & Grand National rear in. I still have that rear & a Monte SS rear. I considered puttin of those 2 rears in my 89 C1500 but would have to find a competent shop to cut/ reweld all brkts. to go on 89 since it's rear is blown. I hate to mess w/. a genuine GN rear, but $ is tight. It'll cost prolly ~$500 for a shop to do fab work vs upgrading to a Eaton w/. new spider gears, install kit & such. For me, cost we be bout the sameeither route. I digress.

Anyway, I was doin all new body mounts from GM; anything that wasn't GM was Energy. At the time the aftermkt wasn't fully supporting G-bodies like they do now. Everything was goin to be upgraded. I did the A-Arms w/. Energy. Had to buy a small press tool; not a floor one either. What I learned & hope u don't do follows. The A-Arm kept wanting to crush under pressure. Even steel is know much for a tool/ press setup. So provide support near where bushins go thru, or it'll collapse & you'll be in the boat I was in.
