The heads have dual PRC springs on them with titanium retainers.

I got my old truck intake manifold today and tried to swap the fuel rails over to the SSR manifold and the crossover tube is not tall enough to make it over the intake. Not sure what to do now. I guess I'll call tomorrow and see if I can get just the crossover for the SSR, or I may explore trying to make my own. I can't imagine it would be too difficult - just a tube right?

Well, nevermind...now that I look at it, it has the incoming fuel line coming off of it. I'll have to look into the SSR crossover tube.

Just run aftermarket fuel rails and fpr, you are going to need it for your turbo intake later on anyway and this way when you got to a carb style the main cost is already over with. Expect to have 600 tied up in a fpr, rails, fittings and lines.

I'm not planning on swapping intakes again, so I'm going to try to make this work.

Muahaha!! My 5 min fab skills with the grinder paid off. The crossover fits perfectly with the taller injectors in there. Now all I have to do is figure out how to mount them to the manifold. There's a pretty damn big gap, and I had to cut off most of the mounting tabs to get them to clear. I might just do some ghetto fab metal straps to hold them in place.

Intake manifold bolts with the sheath cut down make great spacers

I'm almost done with the rails, tired now, going to bed. I'll try to finish them tomorrow. This is going to work though

Looking good, That is the first SSr manifold I've seen, looks like a LS1 car manifold and a truck mainfold's offspring... Nice work on the cross over.

Yeah it's funky looking. Big too - and it fits a 90mm throttle body just perfectly
