Three valves per cylinder?

Anyone know what kind of motor this is? Some big-rig diesel, I assume.

this is the old diesel engine that they had on TRUCKS I think. their supercharged and turbocharged.

Cool, I must have missed that show...

What is this, an 6-71 or 8-71?

I'd assume 8-71, but it looks a little small. Those heads might be HUGE, and throwing me off.

Prolly a 2 cycle as from my readings they need a supercharger to run and that turbo makes for more power. 2 cycles are supposed to be LOUD as hell. I think Detroit Diesel made most.
