Talking Mr. Clean Auto cleaning system

Anybody have a chance to try this out yet?

Well as everyone knows, I have a black truck. and it is a chore to get it really clean.
Well my wife bought me the system this weekend for Easter, and I tried it out.
Claims to leave no water spots( spotless carwash ). Its a three in one system. all in one package. first you hose the vehicle down, then use the supplied soap(that you put in the dispenser). wash with a wet rag, and then rinse. then comes the good part.
If you live in an area that has hard water, this is what this product is for. You turn tha selecter on the wand and now your tap water goes thru a filter system and comes out as soft water. Now i have very hard water where I am at, and the directions stated not to wash in direct sunlight, but I didnt have any shade. so I washed it when it was a bit cloudy. I still came up with some water spots but they where quickly taken out when I wiped the truck down with a dry terry cloth.
Overall I think it was a good buy. After a quick wipe down the truck looked nice and clean. no waterspots at all.
usually I have to spend another 2-3 hours of waxing and polishing to get the spots out. but not this time.
total time spent on the truck 1HR-5MIN.
on a scale of 1-10 I would give it a 8. the only draw back on it is the filter will only last for approximately 3 washes, and then you have to buy another filter, and more soap. but it did get rid of the bucket and all the other little odds and ends I was having to use to wash the truck.
only things I used today where the supplied wand, a rag, and a dry terry cloth towl to dry off the truck.

I bought one and like it too. I was unsure about the spots. Then the next day, I noticed my pass mirror had lots of water spots and the drivers mirror didn't. I then realized that I forgot to spray that mirror and it was obvious.

Yeah, I have it too and you kinda have to get a technique to get it to work well. Also, the replacement cartriges are supposed to be good for 10-12 washes.

I've found that a really quick shot on the area with some soap, plus shooting yourt wash mit seems to work best. I think I used too much soap the first time around and it left streaks when it dried.

If you're using a towel still, you're still defeating the purpose supposedly. If there are spots, then you just didnt rinse well enough. What I found to be my biggest problem is that I used to wash my truck left to right, top to bottom. So when I would wash the 2nd half, I was rinsing the soap and hard water over onto the side I had already rinsed, causing spots. When I tried it truely washing from top to bottom, it works almost perfectly.

Make sure if you have a lid you rinse really well since the water tends to not be able to run off as easily from such a large flat section, so if you dont rinse well you'll get spots or streaks.

Alright...alright....I'll try it!!!! I was very skeptical about this product, but there seems to have been a few good reviews about it.

black is very horrible about showing everything
when i washed it and it showed spots I did as the directions said and soaped the area again, and then rinsed it and applied the filtered water to it. still got a few spots but nothing like it used to be
also they stated that some owners will still experiance water spots more than others. depending on how hard your water supply is. I must be one of those that has really hard water

I have been using it for awhile. The product itself is pretty good, I think it accompishes what it claims. THe only draw backs is that with trucks, you are not going to get 10-12 washes out of that bottle of soap and that filter. Also, make sure you wash your windows afterwards. I didn't the first time, and it started to lightly rain. When I turned my wipers on, they smeared on the window for a few wipes. So, now I clean the windows when I am done.

The product does work great. I use it on my Avalanche and it is Dark Grey Metallic, not as bad as black but geting there.

I bought it on sale at walmart last week for $18. I used it once and love it. It works great for the windows and my rims, no spots at all. Definitly worth it.

I just got a big *** cartridge filter on my hose bib for washing my truck, much less spots with the fliter on and it lasts a long, long time.
