Default motor swap, your thoughts

i have an late model s10, and im wanting to do a motor swap, and i cant decide what motor to go with, 5.3 or a 6.0?

i want something that makes about 400-450hp but i can still drive it daily, recently i have been leaning towards a 6.0 block stroked to a 408...or maybe a s/c 5.3...i dunno what do yall think.....

Of those two choices, I would go with the 6.0

But if you could find an LS2 or even LS1, it might make a better fit.

LS1 with a small turbo=great gas mileage and 500rwhp thats what I plan on doing after I through with my Z71. RSCB S-10 with an LS1 with forged pistons and ~37mm turbo built 65e with a 2500 stall and fat tires under the back 20+ mpg and hand it to anything on the road pretty much.

That would be fun. Till it rained.

Id do the 6.0 too, its the same trouble as the 5.3. Start with as mutch displacement as you can.
