So I am at the track last night sitting in the staging lanes. One of the guys that work there comes over to me and asks if I know what car is number 107. I tell him I don't know and ask why?. He tells me that the car is leaking a "soapy" liquid on every pass he makes. I decide to walk with the guy to find the "culprit". It turns out to be an Evo. This kid is with his buddies in the pits and he's showing them this new "purge" system he has. The track official and I start laughing our asses off. This moron Evo guy is purging his windshield washer fluid. He's telling his buddies that he thinks his car will go a half a second faster once he "purges" it all out. Holy Hell!!! WTF? The track guy tells him he should purge it onto his windshield to clean off all the dead bugs. This kid was so dead serious that I couldn't even begin to explain to him that he was a fuggin idiot.....just walked away in utter amazement.

 

I would've said "are you crazy only half a second faster...kid that mod makes you 2 1/2 seconds faster ,do your homework". then wait like 2 seconds begin looking around and start BUSTING OUT LAUGHING!!!!!!!!!

 

The things some of these ricers come up with. Last year I was watching some races and this kid in a civic was spraying "the big shot" 50HP. After I heard him call it the big shot I decided to watch him make a pass. Now he's on street tires, pulls up to the line has the car bouncing off the rev limiter and when the light turns green the dumps the clutch. The whole car is shaking as the front tires are kinda doing a little wheel hop then he grabs second and bye bye goes the CV Shaft. So the car coast a little ways down the track and comes to a stop, he puts on his hazard lights and gets out of his car and just looks around like he has no clue what happened. In all my years of going to the drag races I've never seen anyone put their hazard lights on after breaking something. Everyone at the track was laughing at this kid.
