Default More new LLY Dmax info! ...and a cool vid...

Quad and Bully Dog have boxes out for them! In case anyone was wondering. The Edge should be out fairly soon too...like within a month apparently. There's already a smoked Alli w/ the 120hp Quad box.

Here's a dually Dmax lightin' up the tires w/ a dual 4" exhasut.

tony you dont understand how fast a duramax with a programer is do you? lol. if you keep it under 400 rwhp (one programer) you wont have many problems with the tranny.

the LLY motor with external injectors will make the design problems of the previous motor will make the duramax much more popular among the hardcore buyers. that and the loud new turbo

i cant wait to get my LLY!

http://www.dieselperformanceparts.com/

They have that dual system as does www.atsdiesel.com <--- they build a bad to the bone Allison apparently.

The guy's sig only shows that exhaust system on the truck as he's got the LLY motor and those LLY boxes just came out. It came so hard off the line due to brake torquing it (as I'm sure you could tell). There is mad defueling (TqMgt I assume) in 1st gear stock.

McRat (member here) ran his truck with the TTS ECU flash that's only a 50hp tune and knocked off nearly TWO SECONDS off his 1/4 mi!

transbreak is just awesome in that allison tranny isnt it? i would REALLY believe he has a good sized programer on that dually. it really moved out. but GOD do those allison computers defuel the crap out of them between shifts. you can hear it between shifts. the edge will eliminate that.

This post was <1 week old and those LLY boxes came out around the same time. So it's possible considering all the unburned fuel that's coming out but it only seems to do it in the 1st gear...

It's pretty sweet as all 4 tires are spinning out back!

I thought the LLY was a new motor option. The dauly pic is from a year ago. Did they have them then?

I'm really not up to date with the D-maxes.

the LLY is the new engine but the dual exhaust options are 1) not the reason it makes so much power and 2) work on the LB7 motor as well.
