With an engine that old I would go with Mobil 1 syntethic blend. I use syn in the Hawk but have moved to syn blend in my intrepid(139K). It's much cheaper and since I'm not running that car on the ragged edge, it doesn't need a fully synthetic oil. The synblend is thinker too so it should help your seals out.
