Whos running them in there front doors,
I heard a set with some heavy rock I like and they sounded real good. Didn't get what db the tweeters were set at though.
I'm thinking I might try a pair in the Stepside Side???

hey creed. damn i like that truck. ok now. i ran two sets of them. they sounded good. but the same problem arose from both sets. the terminals rusted on the speaker. and on the crossover. it did the same thing. i went to some polk audio momos and havent had a problem yet.

I have MB quartz PSC 6.5 components with 1" tweeters in my truck, and I think they sound great. I have had them for 3 years already with no problem. A JL 300/4 is pushing them. F8L is right, they are very bright but can be tuned down somewhat.
I have a digital processor with my deck, so I can adjust each speaker individually. Overall, Im happy, If you would like something with softer highs, look for speekers with silk dome tweeters. They are less bright on high notes.

I also have the PSC 6.5 with 1" tweet and just love the way they sound. For some reason mid bass is not as good I expect it but it does the job. I am running them off a Pheonex Gold T300 providing about 75w rms. I wonder if this is enough.
