My truck has a little over 60K miles on it and the OEM shocks are starting to feel spungy so I've been shopping around on the internet. I can get some new OEM take off's on E-bay for like $40 for all four but not sure if I want an OEM shock again. I've heard the Bilsteins are the best but there about $61 a piece. I can get some KYB shocks that are on sale for $30 each but not sure if KYB are any good although I've heard of them. Any suggestions for shocks that won't break the bank? I'm also going to get a rear sway bar to help with the handling, Summit has a Hellwig for $137, best price I've found so far. Any input would be appreciated.

KYB shocks are the **** man....they perform GREAT, and they don't cost an arm and a leg, in fact i think they were about half what something like the edelbrock shocks cost, and i guarantee they perform just as good.

Don't know about the KYB, but the Edelbrock IAS are the shiznit. The upward travel is a little much, but I think they are in between a soft/comfort shock and a performance shock.
The saying, "you get what you pay for" is true, so I don't think the KYB are "just as good."
