Question lowering shackle instructions?

so i've got the shackles sitting here ready to be installed but no instructions...kinda frustrating. i can't seem to find any decent instructions or pictures of the installation. i'm sure if i could find a picture of what the shackle looks like, which way it's facing and what not this would be done by now, but no luck. any insight out there to help get me in the right direction? thanks!

If I remember correctly, the zerks were facing towards the rear of the truck, but don't quote me on that. I had someone install em for me, so I honestly don't remember for sure.

Dude they go in the same way as the stock ones, you can't make a mistake once you are under the truck and look at them. The drop shackles are exactly the same just longer than the stock ones.

The trick for me after unbolting them, was to lay on the ground and use my foot to push the leaf spring over the frame rail and pull the bolt out. Then just pull down on the leaf to take the bottom one out. You need some tall *** jack stands and then jack her up by the frame. With the jackstands on the frame, and the axle hanging, just do one side at a time, and let the axle hang, then use your foot and back technique to push the leaf up high enough to push the bolt in. Otherwise any shop should do it for one hour labor!

since you have a stepside you are going to have to loosen the bed bolts in the rear of the truck to get the top shackle bolts out.

I didn't have to unbolt the bed on my truck. You will have to push real hard my way, but you can get the bolt out. I have a stedside also! I wish I could show you how, but don't know how to do that!
