do you think this would work to lower the truck?
1. lower torsion bars up front(if you jacked the up to make level like me) and put 2 inch lowering shackels in the back.
2. lower torsion bars up front and take the blocks off of the rear axle. and get new U clamps.
what would lowering the torsion bars up front andother inch or two do the the ride. maybe make it bouncer?

McGaughy's makes 2" drop spindles for 4wd and 2wd, I do belive 2wd and 4wd use the same spindle.

Why is it that every time someone says anything about lowering 4wd, they get shot down, lowering a 4wd is beneficial (handling), apposed to lifting a 2wd which makes no cents to me. I would love to have a 2wd (less weight) but I need 4wd for pulling my sleds around in the winter (I can take off in the rain too). Is there something wrong with the Silverado SS, because its a 4wd. I would love to lower my truck down get some summer wheels and tires, make my own reg cab SS, then put my BFG AT's back on for the snow.

and 4x4 wont help handling. you shouldn't have it in 4x4 unless the road is AT LEAST wet; id say needs to be dirt road or snow.

you are in high school arent you?
just my, and many others' opinions - if you cant handle it, relax. and yes, i am very jealous of someone that would have a 4wd vehicle.......
and why are you driving around in 4wd? lol. 4wd is when you get stuck. it doesnt allow for better handling. 4wd helps when you are trying to stop in an emergency situation? nope.
