id rather not get 8 mpg and not be able to haul more than golf clubs and have more than 2 seats

id just buy a vette instead

dollar wise the truck isn't that bad from my point of view. if you'd bought a dodge half ton and were looking to go 10's with the same amount of other equipment and have someone else do the work, it'd cost you around that much. cost of the truck+much larger brakes+22" wheels+6 speed trans+dana 60 rear+upgraded stereo+enough power to go 10's=a hemi half ton that is near the price of what he has into it. when you're a brand specific fan, this case being dodge, you will just pay what it takes to get your truck as fast as you want it. that truck doesn't just have the ability to go straight, it's built to do much more than that.
