not too shabby at all, i think the 5.7 is a fine motor. it is just all the hype about it that kills me.

Ok, lemme see, the guy was running a 13.7 on motor and all he can pull is a 13.1 on 100 shot(remember this stuff is rated to the tires, so thats about 375-390 at the tires)? I was running a 125 on mine and putting it all over LS1 cars in the high 12s.
Until I see more than a typed time slip and a video I'll just raise the ol' flag.

BTW, if you were running dope on a truck wouldn't you remember to pull the speed limiter? It only took me one run to figure out that I was hitting it.

Hemi777 has posted lots of slips of his runs, invited many people out and even posted a few videos. He does have one freak of a truck considering it is a long bed running those speeds.

He forgot to pull the fuse so he hit 105mph speed limiter at 1200' down the track, he would of broken into the twelves if not for that. His tires are causing problems, they just can't take that kind of hp, he spins pretty bad off the line if he isn't careful.

Raise the BS flag all ya want, but hes posted more then enough info in the past, I believe em, just wish I could get mine moving that quick.

dont consider bigbad's attitude as the rule around here. it is good to see you guys steping it up, competition is good. can't wait till they start pumping out some serious aftermarket parts for you guys.

BTW, when my truck was 3 weeks old i ran a 13.4 with only a tstat, efans and a 100shot (oh yeah, a 4.8 motor)

Ummm...most nitrous kits that I've used don't make the some power the the wheels that they are rated at. I know a few do, but the NOS systems ones don't.

Just don't get your panties in a wad that the Hemi is getting faster. My truck is slooooow but you don't hear me saying that his times are BS. The slips for the high 13 runs have been posted online a while back...

The nitrous kits that usually put out their rated power at the wheels are wet-kits or direct port. Dry kits usually only give you about 75%-80% of their rated power.

Wow, you guys are so up on the hemis its great! 1st off you can't run a dry kit on them, they are speed density.
Next, STS is 6 months behind on turbo kits and making about 3/4 the power of a real kit. There are a lot of flaws w/ their set ups, not saying its a flawed product, just that they bend a lot of the rules to make a kit like they do so you have a lot of trade offs.

Hit Man,
I'm not saying the times are off I'm just leaning towards his original times as being passes on the gas rather than his new time being under powered. Sorry to hear your truck is slow.
