Default Looking for gm advice

I HAVE A 07 SILV. 1500 LTZ 6.0 MAX EXT. CAB 25K MILES AND WOULD LOVE TO HEAR YOUR OPINION ON WHICH COLD AIR INTAKE SYSTEM I SHOULD GET AND WHY... I HAVE DID A LITTLE RESEARCH ON THESE...VOLANT, K&N, S&B AND AEM. AND WOULD LIKE SOME REAL CHEVY ADVICE SO WHICH DO YOU THINK IS BEST? I'M ALSO GOING WITH THE MAGNAFLOW MUFFLERS AND I'M UNDESIDED ABOUT THE CHIP, BULLYDOG, SUPERCHIP, DIABLO SPORT, OR HYPERTEC? SOOOO MANY CHOICES BUT I WANT THE BEST. THANKS INADVANCE FOR YOUR RESPONSES...

Cai is about like coke or pepsi, K&N and volant are proven as well as some others. I modded my stock box and put a drop in K N in it with a 4" custom straight tube.

Magnaflow is a great choice, I have once as well.

You need a custom tune, you will be much happier than with a handheld programmer.

Welcome to PT.net

Please turn off the CAPS

I moved this from the Tuning Section.

Any of the cold air boxes are fine, or you can just drop in a better flowing filter and slightly modify the stock airbox.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE dont waste your time with a handheld programmer, or "chip" as you call it. talk to one of our sponsors on the right. you will be MUCH more happy.

Dido on the CAI answers above, pick the one you want..There are several on ebay for less than $100 that work just the same..

If your stuck with using a handheld go with the diablo sport..It supports custom tunes sorta like you would get from a tuner using hp tuners,or efi live..

geez people they are not COLD AIR intakes, these are not unibody cars, the intake is still in the engine compartment

do some reading first, cause all the info you want/need is here
then make up your own mind, so many people need a hand to hold its getting rediculous
go waste your money on a handheld, but dont cry later

If you want the best get it a custom tune... I had a volant intake before the SC it works good and the magnaflow is also a good choice , with the intake and exhaust and a tune you will get some good rwhp
