Ummmmmm its fun to drive a fast cruiser truck everyday....I have more fun beating up on random new GT stangs and fbodies from light to light than racing by far...

That feeling when you rape 10 cars on a dude in a stock c5 vette is unbeatable...no ET timeslip gives you that kind of grin

my truck weighs in at 4760lbs with me in it, and has alot less rwhp than yours and I have gone a best of 11.7, and thats spraying after the 60', so pretty much you got a good setup to runs some hi 10's, I like the idea of you having a seperate fuel system (fuel cell) for the nitrous, thats how my buddy has too with his 250shot.... I believe he uses like 116oct for his fuel cell on the nitrous..

best of luck, keep us updated on this...

Well update today:

Got the truck on the dyno, had a few P.T.net members show up at the dyno as I was tuning a couple guys trucks and retuning this one with the new changes...

Picked up about 35 rwhp with cam change, shortbelt, cutout.

BTW: Thanks to Rick and George (members here) for coming by the house and thrashing till 2am (im still up)....

We pulled all the extra weight possible off the thing, put the lighter alum wheels on the front.

Reweighed it on truck scale at 2am! 4200lbs EVEN! Wow. I think its a solid 500lbs lighter than last trip to the track. Race weight will be right at 4350lbs with me in it after I yank another 50lbs

Im going to find another 50lbs in it before I go out...theres still tow hooks on it, the bars that go under across underneath and its on steel rear wheels (two spare tire wheels /w et streets) which im swapping to the 16x10 alum wheels /w slicks.

I could technically yank the door panels, rear door panels, glovebox, lightweight battery, lighter front bumper setup, fiberglass hood, one piece aluminum driveline from the steel two piece/carrier bearing setup, Front skinny wheels (16x5's or so), sunvisors, cd deck, dvd player (20lbs)

I seriously think I could get this thing down to 3900lbs without me if I was on a mission....

Whats the record for fastest N/A Extended/Crew cab??

If you are going to strip your truck down to a cars weight why not start with a car, kinda defeats the purpose IMO.

Results......spent some time trying to get it to hook making air pressure changes and leaving different ways on the converter. Worked it down from a 2.0 to a 1.79 60ft on the last pass....

Ran some 12.1/12.4/12.0's etc....Finally got one decent hook with the 1.79 60'

11.94 I was stoked
