LLY w/ Juice w/Attitude, AFE intake, MBRB exhaust
#1
My dad bought the Juice w/ Attitude. AFE intake, and MBRB exhaust for his 2004 LLY D-Max. Me and a friend installed it. Taking the stock exhaust was the hardest thing, and tapping the exhaust manifold for the EGT sensor. After we got it all installed, we went out for a drive to let the Allison learn the new found power. After about 2 days of it being driven I took it for a real drive
. I ran through levels 1-4 and it pulls like a freight train in all levels. Then I cranked it up to level 5, locked it in 4-Hi held the brake and let the boost rise. When I let off the brake and puched the throttle, the truck burned out all 4 tires and was having some wheel hop problems
. I did not think it would be that fast/powerful, so when I felt the power I was shocked. Too bad you cant run it in levels 4 or 5 all the time without a upgraded tranny, so I just run it in levels 1 or 2 through town. Maybe a tranny upgrade will be in order soon, along with some propane injection
