line lock on rear brakes?

I'm bringing this thread back up. I accidentally cut into my brake line last night. Coincidentally, it I cut right where Atomic has his line lock. I'm thinking I will just add a line lock in the same place.

My question is, will I have to pull the entire 6' brake line out of the truck to flare it?

I had to because my flare tool sucked so I had to take it somewhere

Was it a bitch to get out? To me, it looked like I would have to drop the gas tank to get it out?

I did not have to remove the tank, but it wasnt much fun either.

I bought one of these:

MasterCool Universal Hydraulic Flaring Tool Set : Amazon.com : Automotive

It does brake line bubble and double flares, fuel line quick connects, fuel line oring connections and so on. You can make some sexy flares on brake lines with one of these. Sometimes even better then stock flares.

Ive used that flare kit. It does some badass stuff.
