Default Lifting my truck

Would it be to lift my 2WD ECSB truck about 17" just for show? Most people think that lifting is only for 4WD! Just want 2nd opinions!

Actually, lifting 2wd trucks is quite popular. At the SEMA show this past November, there were just as many lifted 2wd trucks as 4wd trucks. I loved my lifted 2wd, always liked the looks of lifted trucks, but had no desire to go offroad. Here are good examples of a lifted 2wd show trucks:

Any lifted truck is cool. 2WD or 4WD it dont matter. If you lifted in 17" I hope you are gonna run 44's or bigger!!

I wouldn't do it, but that's becasue if I wanted something lifted I would have bought a 4x4. I really think they look good and can be very functional look at all the baja trucks their all 2 wd with hell of alot of suspension travel 1000 horsepower and their awesome. Go for it but watch your wallet becasue it's not cheap after 4 inches or so.

I use to think it was to lift a 2WD, then one of my co-workers did it. The truck looked awsome. The truth is, a lot of peolpe with lifted 4WD trucks dont take them off road anyway. I know a guy that has a 03 Ford F350 Crew Cab 4 X 4. The truck is wicked with 10" 's of lift and 40" Tires. THe most dirt he has ever seen is when driving through a dirty parking lot. I say go for it, it will look awsome.

OK! Maybe not 17" but high enough to where it will look cool and not like a body lifted 4X4. Maybe enough to run some 38". I'm gonna tear **** up racing and if I go off road, well there I am again! I just want it for the looks! Ok and to pull some ho's! Know where I can get a good lift for kind of cheap? Thanks!

10-12" would clear 38's easy.

I like the way 2wd lifted truck looks.I would go with a 12" lift w/ 38's.A 17" lift would still look good.looks good to me
