LED RPLACEMENTS FOR TAIL LIGHT BULBS
I found an LED that can be modified to replace any #3157 bulb, such as the ones used for all late model F bodies, pickups, and SUVs. Click on the link below to see how I modified it to work.

It works fine for the stop/tail lamp. If an LED is used for turn signals, a different flasher is required since LEDs use much less current and the flasher acts as if a bulb is burned out, flashing twice as fast.

Re: LED RPLACEMENTS FOR TAIL LIGHT BULBS
I have had APC LED's and did not feel like modifying them, if I goofed I was stuck. I found JamStrait LED's and they work great. I got them at AutoZone. They are twice as expensive as APC. I have ordered some hyperbright since superbright are not enough. FYI the APC's work on the old style Chevy trucks.
