When I pulled my EGR system, the biggest freeze plug I could find was 1 1/16. Well thats too small. I looked around for what I could rig. I found it. A Bondo spreader, and covered with silicone. Painted black and installed. worked great. for about a week and a half. I noticed my cam starting to "lope" a lot better. But it was inconsistant. Sounded great thoug. Well today, I could hear a slight sucking sound. I found the spreader cracked, so learn from me "smart like I am" and don't use Bondo spreaders.

ya, an air leak will definitely do funny things at idle, on a motorcycle engine its insane what one little hole will do

you need a 1-3/8" rubber freeze plug, they're very common at the parts stores everywhere except where you live lol j/k
