Default A last farewell

I've had my truck since it had 13 miles on it. Yesterday a 65 year old man pulled out of a parking lot and I had nowhere to go and no time to stop. I went to look at her today and the owner of the lot said "sorry son she's gone on to a better place". I've only had it 3yrs but I've poured alot of blood sweat and $$ into her. She will be missed.

Thanks guys oh I'm not leaving just going to probably go the deisel rout this time.
I agree old people should have to take some kind of reaction tests when they get new licenses. But I assure you this old man will look both ways after this. I hit him in the drivers door and his car actually flipped away from me and ended up on the drivers side. Looked at his car today too my truck intruded on his almost 2ft, and pushed his seats togeter.
Don't know how much I'm gonna get we both have the same insurance company.
I'm going to have to enlist the help of a lawyer to get anything out of it. She was a 02 silverado 4.8/5spd, with(I sat down and added it up) $7500 worth of extras. I owed $7000 left on the truck not sure what a st cab goes for.

yep... even with the help of a lawyer.. looks like your still out some money to cover the legal costs.... This time, put a big bull bar or something on the front of your new diesel and plow over everything

Sorry to hear about your truck Josh. If that happened to my truck I would probably sit down and cry.

Hopefully you can end up with a better truck than before. Good luck with the settlement and the search for the new truck.
