Default Largest TB on stock intake?

So what is the largest diameter Tb that will fit or work on a stock manifold?
I have the 5.3l if that makes a difference.
Thought all the trucks from 4.8l, 5.3l, 6.0l had the same intake. Correct me if I'm wrong.
What is the stock opening on our manifolds?
Can the stock TB be opened up for any kind of gains in an FI set up?

So the stock manifold opening is 80mm?
Any other info an how much a stock TB could be bored out?
Is the stock TB 80mm matching the manifold?????

the stock tb is 75mm, not sure on the intake mm size but like i said i did at one time have the bbk mounted straight to the manifold, but it would have very high idle so i built a 1/8" plate to help the air flow.

you cant bore out your tb but a bigger tb wont help you that much unless you realy need that much air like for turbos and blowers. but if you want one "Fast" has a good 90mm tb

yeah the bigger tb wont help much without tuning for it, i gained almost 2/10's with mine and 3mph, i wouldn't bother with it lol hahaaa

People have seen simular results with ported tb's.
