This post is just to informed concerned forum member about piston slap that GM has really stepped out of its boundaries. It has invaded our 1st Amendment of the Bill of Rights. That is right. GM is threatning to take action against consumers who complain about their oir burning and knocking engine. Early this year this web page web page was created to inform consumer about this issue. GM told the creator of this website to neautrilize his website or face " serious reprisals" from the corporation. This is a perfect example of how giant corporations bully individuals and small entities due to their financial and political leverage. I am aware of certain forum member(s) who are a little sensitive about this topic. Please do not reply if that is the case. I have no intentions in going into some ethical debate with you. We must stick together and contunue our efforts to win this battle against GM. Remember that it was public opinion and awareness that ended the Soviet Union, not missiles.

THIS is why GM said shut it down and I support everything about having this site (in its curerent form) removed. With proper factual backing and minus the inflamitory commentary this site could actually be helpful...now it only poses to put its owner in a financial debacle.

BTW- "Free Speech" as you seem to refer to is not unlimited. If you yell "FIRE" in a crowded area you better damn well be able to PROVE there is a FIRE or suffer the consequences. Like I said before...find some facts, substantiate some claims and keep the propaganda to a minimum and you might ahave some ground to stand on.

1) it has been stated many times before but i'll say it again, go about getting yur injustice corrected in the proper manner
2) live with piston slap if you unfortunately have it
