Thanks for the compliments! Yes I am still in ah over this thing. Going to remove the cheese molding and repair the holes. Along with a new paint job, original color, maybe a 2 tone. And remove all surface rust from the frame.
As for wheels would like to change them as well. Just a bit bigger, but nothing on the bling side.
The 3 on the tree brings back some memory's. And no power steering is a feat as well.

That truck's an orignal, antique. Don't pull anything off it or paint it until you figure out if it's worth something to a truck collector, even with minor flaws it might be better off as original.

It's a true relic....I would want to keep it stock, but I know I could'nt. There are easy cheap upgrades for these trucks that will not detract from the "originality" of it. Just work on ordering some free catalogs and do it to your taste, you might just want to keep it.
