so im really tired of looking at all these users sigs who have minor bolt ons with an ECSB and a 6.0 pulling low 14's. its crazy how the 6.0 and 5.3 n/a engines are in totally different classes it seems. if i had 4k sitting on my desk right now the first thing i would do is get a 6.0... just thought i would start this thread for all us jealous 5.3 or 4.8ers that keep getting pushed around by those 6.0's maybe i just need FI, but if i can afford an FI system i might as well do the engine swap for the better platform.

 

i am part of that club, but you can find a lq4 for $1000-2000, but oh well

 

i got somethin little better then a tiny 364CI motor

I was once in the club I worked 8 months worth of 60-70 hour weeks for what I got daddy didnt just drop it in front of me plus I built the motor and did all the work myself to save money

If you truely make it a priority you can save the money needed and you will get it done I speak form experience.

 

i could definitly do that if i had a job that could replace the money in my account that just keeps getting closer and closer to empty with every mod... someday ill get there. im only 18 anyways

 

hey I was once ther but just bit the bullit and bought me a 6.0, now i guess the real spending will come into play..Hope I have the $$$ to carry out the plans..

 

6.0??? what will that do? ..... no but the 6.0 is bad and mine will be compleated within the next month... i would pick up a 6.0 first and build that... my 6.0 is built with a turbo in mind.... im not saying that a F/I 5.3 is gay.... im saying that a 6.0 handles mods much much better...

 

don't tell me that my parents pay for my stuff, i worked my azz off last summer to buy my truck and this summer i worked my but off just to buy stuff for my truck my mom dose not support my obsession with my truck, i made about 6K this summer, if not more, in hot houston heat, almost every day, if it was up to me i would have a 6.0 and a raddix but my mom won't let me do what i want to do, it was a strech to buy my headers, hids, brakes and misc parts, mheck her and my gf just make fun of me when i buy something.
i just hate when anyone thinks that i did not wokr for what i have heck i worked form 8 am till 7:15 thursday and i am will be working from 8 till 4 today and till 7 tomorrow. don't tell me i don't work hard, and my mom bought me everything bec that is the farthest from the truth, sorry just had to get that out

 

In about 3 months or so I should have pretty much everything in my sig for sale. including fully built 4L65 tranny and Headers.
Going with a 408 or 427 With one of those Turbo things
I will post it in the for sale section when the time comes.
