Default Killed a Tundra

I was on my way back from the dentist, and decided to take the high-way home for fun. There was some black infinty car (can't remember what it was called but that's the make) but there was too much traffic. So I did a u-turn when I got off to get back on the high-way in the other direction. It was a yield and the light changed so there were some cars starting to go. I went about half throttle getting on the on ramp, then I look in my side-view mirror. A silver EC Tundra was coming up on me fast, and blew by me at about 15-20 mph. I was going about 55, then floored it and he already had about 3-4 car lengths on me. To my surprise, I pulled him hard even though he got a huge jump. By about 90-95 (I still have a limiter so I let off soon ), I had what it looked like 4-5 cars on him. I don't see how this could be, and i'm not making this up. Then on my left side-view mirror, some old 5.0L mustang was coming up on me and blew by me too. I guess he was mad for me leaving him there, but I let him go. What do you guys think?

My dad has an 01 and they are not speed demons by any means. However, stock for stock, it would hang w/many ex cab chevys and pulled my uncles 1500 hd quad cab(not a surprise).

Good luck with them. Thats a crap shoot. You may hang with them and you may not. The only one I have gotten the privelage to run is a crew cab titan spraying nos. Soooo, but even without the nos, he's pretty strong.

I see them all over the road, but have never seen one while i'm driving. If I ever catch one in my truck, i'm going to rev the crap out of my truck to make sure he runs me. I really want to see what the Titan's got.

BTW, I though the old 5.0L stangs were ''dogs.'' Oh well, come summer time i'll be getting a cam, stall, intake, e-fans, a tune, and a few things for the tranny. Hopefully if my new job goes as planned, i'll have about $4200 saved up.
