I have been watching this black Harley/Ford since spring.He runs consistant mid 14's and claims to run "12's" on the bottle mounted in his,(never hauled anything heavier than a cooler)bed.I have seen him run high 13's but his bottle wasn't showing much pressure.
So I cracked off a little saying if he saw a 12 it was with a g-tech timer on a down hill run.This got his hackells up a little so he reminds his amego's and me that he's faster than my chevy.I agreed and ask him if he thought that supercharger could give up the jump ? We agree on a.5 sec.Jump and head to stageing lanes.I got a full bottle,they didn't find, 26" sticky tires on the rear. And they think they got me covered. At Test and Tune it's hard to match up in line if there are many cars, and there were.A car pulled out of my lane and I had to run a 14 sec Nova.I know the Harley/Ford is next in line, and can see my time, so when I can't real in the Nova I ease off and run 15.25 @85.The Nova ran 14.2.The H/f ran a 14.6 behind me and now he really wants to race me.And his Amego's want to bet.We get matched up and after a 15 min. track clean up go to the line.He rolls around the water,I roll though it and clean the tires for about a second, and spin dry.We stage and I leave on the second yellow -.475 sraying @ launch and got him looking at my tailgate and space in a hurry.
He didn't gain much by the 1/8 so by the 1000'mark I was out of the bottle and letting him close in.He crossed at my rear bumper. I ran 14.96 He ran 14.56 and left.275 at the tree.By the time we got back around to the pit area he was flashing his brights at me, wanting a rematch.It was late and the staging lines were long so maybe next week.I'd bet next week his bottle is full.If it is I think Whitt wants to show him a Tahoe. Any referance to wagers are fiction and I know of no gambeling at Memphis Motorsports Park.

blownchevy,How do you guys get your truck pic's on post? Cool log on name and very nice truck..I got my asm long tubes in tonight so I got more hole cards to draw from this week. But if his bottle is full and supercharged I'll need more than the jump.2000silveradoss or whitt could still handle him though.They got that chevy bowtie flying good in Memphis.
