Default Kill switch options

I've decided that having an alarm on my truck isnt enough to insure that nobody is gonna steal my truck and with the kind of money I've put in this thing, I think I want a kill switch.

Those of you who have them, what did you use and where do you have it wired?

I was thinking a wire to the fuel pump would be enough.

Fuel pump or ignition wire, or switch over to a COS3 and use valet mode. Plugs into the pcm.

I have a kill switch with my alarm too, but I'm sure it can be bypassed pretty easily.

Airhorns under the back seat will help.

Thats what I'm wanting to do eventually. As soon as It's back in action I'm hooking up the Valet mode.

Putting some train horns under the back seat on that hump all the way to the back would damn sure kick me out of a truck real fast.

It would be awesome against thieves but I wouldn't want that going off on accident with me in the cab.

Under the seat is quite a bit more realistic than that sarcasm.
I know it's a little obsurd. but so is walking outside and not having a vehicle. A train horn going off in the dead of the night is loud enough. Add it with you in the cab of a truck on a tank that'll let it run for 30 seconds and I really doubt they'll be laughing.

Not saying it's something I'd do as my first option. But If thefts keep going like they are It's something to consider.

I'd think a simple valet mode that won't let the truck keep running would be enough to keep it from being stollen, Unless they use a trailer.

I don't think there's any alarm system worth buying. When's the last time you saw an alarm going off and thought about calling the police? they'll be in the car taking it with people walking by watching and no one will say anything. Best bet is something that really gets some attention or that doesn't let it move at all.
