Default Keyless Entry??

Ok, this might sound stupid but I have a 2001 Seirra SLT, I bought it wrecked it didnt have keys, I dont know who owned it before, how can I tell if the truck has keyless entry?? Or do all models except the base models have it?? THANKS!!!!

you could try to program a remote to it and if it works then it has it?

If I can find one I'll try that. Is there something extra I could look for that would tell me like some kind of module or something??

I think there would be a code on the inside of the glovebox door but not for sure if there is or what the code would be try a search

Hey man thanks alot, I really appreciate you checking that out for me!!!! I know about the recalls on the cables but we fixed a 00 chevy (also reconstructed title) and the guy we sold it to went to the dealeship (dont know where) and they gave him cables. So I'm gonna check on it after I get it on the road. As far as the tire pressure, I usually dont follow that to a T anyway but I have 255/70/16's that I bought from a guy with an 03 Seirra(pretty sure OE equipment) So my spedo and odo are going to be off b/c I'm supposed to have 235/75/16's. THANKS AGAIN!!!!!

If you know somebody with a tech 2 they can reset your tire size .
