kind of narrow minded around here. i think it is cool the SVT crew works on diferent projects. there are lots of cars that i would never buy but i can see why some people like them.

i hope they bring back the lightning faster than ever.

Dude, what are you smoking, 'cause I want some of it. A contour with a stock 5 liter wouldn't even run that fast. And if you know something I don't I want to know 'cause that is basically the same turd motor that is in my wifes new Mazda 6 and it will go more like 120, not 158.

There is no way a stock Contour SVT ran into the 13's
Mabe low 15's
I bought one new in 2000 I had it 145 according with speedo and it
handled it very well. If you have never driven one you should not be quick to judge.

If you told someone that is not up on late model performance that a 4x4 would run into the 10's on street tires, They would call you a Liar.
Sometimes 1 ride can make a believer out of the biggest sceptic.

i signed it. without the L and the srt10 (to a lessor extent) GM will never need to make a performance from the factory truck. GM enthusiasts loses out when teh L isnt produced
