a defective muffler

what muffler officer?

actually, i have one, i just wasnt using it. so I'm hoping i can go get a court date set up and take pictures of the muffler and say that i had to wait until monday to get it installed, since my muffler was "rusted out" and i needed a new one.

anyone else know of any strategys i can use?

I'm just happy the guy didnt screw me over for not having cats, and not even having my exhaust connected. he liked my tail lights though hhaha

 

go to court and tell the judge that it was just low on fluid, boys at the gas station topped it off for ya.

 

lol, well so far i just went to a local muffler shop and got them to write me a recipt for a new muffler install, and im gonna take it to court and say the problem is fixed and it should get knocked down to a $10 dismissal fee.

 

Sometimes a judge will reduce a fine just because you showed-up and offered an explanation...even if it sounds like BS. It shows that you are at least concerned about the problem.
