Just dropped roughly 215 pounds off the truck!!!

Default Just dropped roughly 215 pounds off the truck!!!

Getting ready for my first ever 1/4 pass on Saturday, I decided it was time to do some weight reduction... Keep in mind I weighed all this stuff on a $14 walmart bathroom scale, so it is probably not the most accurate...

Spare = 65
Jack and tools = 10
Spare tire holder/hoist thingy = 10
Bumper, brackets and bolts = 60
Soft folding tonneau(sp) cover = 30
Tailgate = 50


Added a rollpan that weighed 10 so I dropped 215 pounds, roughly....


I also added some 28" ET streets, which weighed 40 with the rim, the stockers I took off weighed 55, so I saved roughly 15 pounds on each wheel, plus they are 2.5 inches shorter....


Hopefully all that was worth a few tenths...

Yep, hopefully my waterpump doesn't start leaking again...


seriously I am hoping for mid 13's, i am going to the 1/8th tomorrow to get some practice runs in on the slicks... 1/4 on saturday!!!
