Default Just bought a 95 Z71 I need clutch help

Hey guys,
The 95 Z71 truck I just bought is a 5 speed and the clutch is VERY close to the floor. It isn't slipping at all but I thought it was a hydraulic so how do I adjust it? Anyone have any ideas? Thanks for the help.

Unfortunately you can't adjust but might try bleeding it. Its just like bleeding brakes.

I tried bleeding it but there was no bleeder in the slave cylinder, only an allen plug, so I suspect it has been replaced at some point in time. I'm going to go to the local auto parts store and pick up a bleeder and try bleeding it properly. If that doesn't work I'm going to have them order a new slave cylinder for $63 and I'm sure that will do it. Just thought I'd go the cheap easy route first. Thanks for the reply.

If I remember right that the allen is the bleeder it will a hole beside it that lets the flied out. At least how a 3rd gen was with a t-5

Unfortunately not on this thing, when ever I back out the plug fluid sprays straight up and will spray any direction depending on which way the pressure is on the allen plug. I did pick up a bleeder so I'm gonna try that after I get home from Church. I'm keeping my fingers crossed on this one, but if it doesn't work I'll just order the slave cylinder.
