Default Interesting Observation

I have been in Dallas for a couple of days now and I haven't come across any high performance-sounding vehicle. I've been going out all day long cruisin and getting to know the city and the only thing that gets even close to performance was a ricer with flows. Are there any drag racing lovers in Dallas??? or is the city condemned to having "infinitis, hondas, and bmw's" patrol the streets...which are, by the way, unmarked (no skid marks or anything)!!! wtf!!! Please give me a sign that there's a high-performance racing life here....

I was out in Duncanville for a week for a buisness trip and I didn't notice any
performance trucks or cars either. I was crusin Dtown Dallas and nothing. Maybe they got some laws out there or are craking down on street racing.

I'm located in North Dallas. Was in downtown today and I did see some camaros, but they were pushing a 6-cylinder ...one can immediately tell...There was a corvette parked in a garage so ...They might have some laws here that prohibit the street racing, but come on...that won't get in the way for someone to be cruisin around with cutouts...

SLA

and by the way....what the hell is this "noise pollution" thing i keep hearing about??? one of my friends got pulled over for that and got a ticket!!!

Rent a GEO and go for a ride. The fast cars will come out of the woodwork. Never fails. If I'm in my hotrod I see nothing. In the monte or 4x4 they are everywhere. The things you see when you ain't got a stick.

I run my cutouts alot and haven't been pulled over luckily for being too loud, (noise pollution). I try to keep it down.

The law got strict as of a couple of years ago. The Street racing law in Texas is punishable as a minimum class B misdemeanor as of 03'. Hefty fines and licence suspension are manditory(sp?)
