Default installing a centerconsole from an ss

okay I am having some trouble.... the console does not bolt up.....do I have to change out the lower dash panel to get it to fit? I am so lost...

yes, i believe the lower dash panel is different, there are some post here of people doing it to their single cabs, some cut the dash, some bought the stock piece that goes with the center console.

The lower dash panel from the radio and glovebox needs to be removed, and a new glovebox bezel has to be installed.

yes, the lower dash panel is different. Here's a link to my pics of the swap:

I used a Jigsaw and dremel (for cleanup) to make the cut... good luck.

eta:
you can cut your current piece or get the "correct" piece from the stealership... I'd at least try cutting the original first instead of spending the money, worked out fine for me, just leave a little extra and trim as needed.

now this guy knows......After taking a second look and consulting some interior pics of an SS Silverado there is a piece that goes around the glove box that I will need to get....



But I did get it to fit before consulting BUDLIGHT....
