it is so easy to get in these trucks with a screwdriver and also fast. hell i am sure you can do it on a chevy but on my dads ford they bought a new lock cylinder with a key in it. then they break in with a screwdriver under the door handle. once in they screw a slam hammer in the ignition and jerck it out. all that is left is sliding the new cylinder in and starting it.

i figured if they were real good they could have it in less than 30 sec. i figured all this out after we found his truck.

i realy hate to see that and to think there piece of **** people out there like that. Sorry for the loss although it still baffles me as to why it was burned.

Regardless of whether he was selling it or keeping it...he put a lot of time into it, as has just about everyone here, and to see someone take a **** on it like that shows a complete lack of respect, among other things. It just makes it that much more personal.

If you read this ILLNALI, hope you get everything worked out ok. Those pics made me mad....

This is exactly why I have a sticker over my V.I.N. number thats says "Nice try *******", everyone thinks Im crazy but no **** head is getting my truck easy. I feel bad for him as well, truly a shitty situation, atleast he will be getting a new car or truck.

That really sucks I always liked that truck. Anyone know if he was running any kind of alarm system? I'm gonna go put some tape over my VIN now...
