It's actually called Torque Management Request though people will call it a variety of things.

The Engine controller requests the tranny to reduce the torque on the tranny during a shift to create a big mushy shift, pulling the wire means the request never gets to the tranny and there for a nice crisp shift. This is only possible on the 03 hemi's not the 04+ hemi's unless with an aftermarket computer, of which the 2 available are only out for the 03's at this moment.

My Ram doesn't have traction control which I believe is an option but damn, with the TM that's already in the PCM, it's not needed. I can start to spin the tires from a stop just by punching it and then I can almost hear the engine being detuned by the PCM. The power will fall off until the tires hook and them I start to pull pretty good. I just redid my exhaust from a SI/DO Magnaflow to a 3" SI/SO Magnaflow and it helped make more power. Between the exhaust redo and the Trans flash, my truck has gotten about .3 seconds quicker than I was when I ran the 15.36. I think I would be closer to 15.00-15.10 now but I'll have to wait until Spring, track is closed now.

Yes I do! I like it alot better than the 00 Silverado I use to have, and stock for stock, it's quicker than my Silverado was. It rides better, turns tighter, handles better and has more room in the back seat for friends and family. I get more compliments on it than I ever had with my Silverado. The only thing it doesn't do better than my Silverado is it gets worse mpg but that's OK, if I wanted MPG, I would have gotten a ricer.

Dude you don't know anything about me, you need to learn some respect! Go ahead and drive what you like, I'll do the same, but I won't give you grief about it. The compliments I get are for it's color and the sport package, not for having a Hemi. I took the big ugly HEMI badges off, I didn't like the looks of them and all the morons asking me "that thing got a Hemi?". I could get into a typing war of words but I won't waste my time with someone like you, you're not worth it!!!

any thing that has got 345hp. and can be made faster is cool in its on right. everyone rags on me because i am driving a grandpa fast truck ,but hey i look at it this way i cant make it any slower.
i still want to race a hemi after i get old red fixed and running right. that away i wont get beat as bad by a hemi
i think if i get her fixed it will be a good run between my sleepy truck and a hemi
