You have to cut a wire I think going to the trans, but its only on the 03 models. The bad thing about cutting the wire is it voids the drivetrain warrenty.

Pulling a fuse will do the same thing, and can be put back in so they don't have the chance to void the warranty. I can't remember what fuse it is, but I think it might be the ABS fuse.

They also have another trick they call the key trick or something. It gets them around the 100mph speed limiter. WHen they start coming up on 100, they turn the key to the start position and it bypasses the safety stuff in the PCM so it lets the motor keep on going instead of cutting out. The starter doesn't actually hit as it's a safety feature to keep it from engaging when in gear.

OK, thanks for clearing that up everybody. Does anybody know what TMR stands for? The key trick, hmmm, that's interesting.
Thanks,

Please elaborate.

Keep in mind, this is coming from someone out of no where calling a couple of guys that's been here a while ********. I know F8L's pretty well respected on the boards, and I've don't remember the first derogative post from him.

As for me .. ask around and get an unbiased opinion.

If it's about the tire spinning comments .. I know what it takes to get there. Maybe with the stock FIrestoner's it's possible on shitty roads with maybe a one tire fire in the lightest truck config, but I wouldn't put any money on it. Before I started doing stuff to my truck, it would bark the tires from a dig. After the converter, that was another story, but that's a whole different ball game. I could go on and on about it, but there's no sense. Enough has ben said about it.

You can PM me if you would prefer, that was it isn't whoring up this thread any more than it already has been.

That would make sense, but ABS fuse? Do the Dodge trucks have a traction control device that holds the brakes to reduce spin under heavy acceleration? I know your not 100% it's the ABS fuse, just wondering.
