Im a little dissappointed

Well, I waited near 6 weeks for my update. During which time my supercharger sat in the garage. I paid a tuner $500 for some tuning. I told him exactly what was on the truck and specifically told him that I wanted it safely tuned. Tune it a little rich and back down the timing to be safe. Well, after calling him twice, he assured me it was the intake system. I changed it to a factory airbox with a tube to the airdam to get fresh air. It still detonates badly. Now hopefully I wont have to wait another 6 weeks for the tune I originally asked for. Until then I guess Im parked. I couldve spent that money on a tuning program and done no worse myself. Very Dissappointed

I dont want to slam him or his business yet, since he will hopefully rectify this situation with some 2 day shipping on a new tune. In my opinion a refund is pretty warranted, at least half. He obviously cant tune for what he said he could. It is running too much timing and too little fuel. This is 6 pounds. What is it going to take to get it tuned for 11# and alky. He said he could tune for this stuff. I now have to pay another 500 for tuning at least one more time (a local guy with dyno and wideband).

Why would you get your money back? When you get a mail order tune, the possibility that the tune will have to shipped back for changes can happen. I don't know who the tuner is, but I don't think any tuner is going to give your money back unless the problem isn't resolved.
