Default im leaking oil like the exxon vladez.

alright so a while back i had a bad vacuum hose so i just capped off all the ports i didnt need. well in my hurry to "get it done quick" i did not leave a breather port open and when i test drove it my hood started smoking and oil was coated all over the most rear pasenger side coil and plug wire. i immediately knew what i had done and took the cap off the driver side valve cover in the rear and placed a breather filter on it. i thought it was problem solved until just now when i pulled on some stupid kid in a old v6 camaro. two miles later coming up my street my low oil light came on so i pulled in the drive way popped the hod and oil is coated on that passenger rear coil again except that the whole block is covered from head to oil pan. im thinking i blew some sort of seal but i was wondering if you guys had any thoughts on which one it might be or any old timer experience that might help with this rookie mistake?? 99 silverado cold air intake, longtubes no cats, e fan swap, nelson tune.

It sounds like pressure built up and blew out the valve cover gaskets. Hopefully it is the valve cover gaskets as they are the easiest to replace. Did it push your dipstick out?
