Well, I just added up the money I have been saving for a 6.0L and it comes to $700. All I need now is about ~$700 more to get this thing done. Being in college it takes a little while longer to save up the $ There are probably more important things I could spend my money on, but I really enjoy working on cars, especially my truck, its like therapy. I have also been working on a garage its about 34'x23' so I will have some really good space to work on this thing in when I get the garage finished. I also plan on doing some mods (after I save up more money ) to the engine while it is on a stand, such as a cam, rod bolts, springs, etc, and also swapping my parts over like pulley, thermostat, etc. Plus I will want to use a HD radiator. And finally, I will be swapping out a tranny sometime in the future, because I know the 4l60e will only last so long with the 6.0L. It will take a while for everything to fall in place but I think it will be worth it.

ya. bein in highschool i think its equally hard. or harder to save up money for mods; but once u do get a new mod. all the hard work pays off for that feelin when u look at ur ride in juuust the right way and she looks pimp

 

yeah, school definitely messes with truck modification. maybe I can talk my parents into putting up the money for a few mods.

 

see if they can throw a few buck my way as well
