Default I'm getting tired

Not to bash on other sites, but I'm getting tired of getting banned from other truck sites.

1st if was FSC because I tried selling a gun and questioned the rhetoric behind them not allowing it. Now I'm temp banned from GMFS because I posted a few funny pictures and one gung-ho mod didnt like it and I told him off in a pm and changed my profile to say a few things about him and now I'm temp banned. Does anyone not have a sense of humor anymore these days? It's really ridiculous and sad that one can not be himself without having to worry about a mod that must be a loser in real life to where he has to find shelter beind a mod title and act like he's important for once in his life.

oh yea, i got banned from htownracing.com as well before

Ill do not worry about it! you know from the mods here in this section that we are not **** mods and do not try to ban people unless we REALLY have to. We do not like to do that, cause sites like LS1.com pull that crap.

What did you do on Htownracing though

I'm not going to question other sites policies. But one of the main "guidelines" that most sites follow is not to be slanderous to other members of the site. Lord knows we have edited a few signatures here for that reason. I won't get into that. I have gotten post reports from more than a handful of you you guys citing slanderous comments and asking them to be removed. Site mods seem to be the ones that catch all the **** though. Here there are sets of rules posted in every section of the truck forum. All the mods try to do is tackfully enforce them. And when it comes down to it, rules are rules, when they are broken something needs to be done. Keep breaking the rules over and over the more serious the consequence. The person on the recieving end always has a sob story of how it was not there fault and those arguements can go on for days with the mod always being the bad guy. Think about it, if you know your breaking someones rules, then why do it and then complain about it when you get busted?
Now I'm temp banned from GMFS because I posted a few funny pictures and one gung-ho mod didnt like it and I told him off in a pm and changed my profile to say a few things about him and now I'm temp banned.
He didn't like it. Did they fall within those site rules? Did you know they may have been questionable when you posted them? Did he attack you on the open board when he took the pics down? You did by changing your sig. I may have handled it different if I knew the specifics of the situation. It's not member against mods on these sites. How many times have we edited something out and cited what rule to be reminded of? How many sigs were edited due to complaints? How many threads were shut down due to them going against site rules. I understand your venting, but I' also not even sure what board GMFS is (by those initials). I don't visit as many sites as I use to, so I don't know the tone anymore of those you mentioned.

Good post Greg, different boards have different parameters on what they want there members to follow... While some are more strict then others. Just dont let it get you too pissed of since it is only a membership for something on the interenet. Nothing more then that.
