Default If you could build any part what would it be?

I work in a machine shop and I'm taking classes to begin learning how to program. I was talking to one of the owners here at work and he mentioned that I should start practicing w/ the machines here, by making something for my truck. Now is there anything that I could machine out of aluminum that would increase performance that you guys would make yourselves if you had access to cnc machines? I want to make something pretty trick but don't have any ideas. And no throttle body spacers. I want to make something that will actually work. My truck is a 05 1/2 ton crew w/ the 5.3.

Some cylinder heads?

Seriously, I gotta think bout this. Cause most of what I'm thinkin is for fuction. Like say a tank of sorts, or fan shroud, billet pieces for coils. Some gauge mounts would be trick.

Short of a CAI tube, I got nothin. Clamps for leaf springs? or some suspension pieces?

I'm interested to see what u come up w/.

That's along the lines of what I was thinkin, I just wrote clamps since they're more simple. But Lance, that's what I'd do. Or a remote battery box. Know anybody who 'd want 1 of those?

I would make a intake like the Edelbrock XT intake, make it in sections and have a it welded. That would be bad ***!

Good luck on learning on how to work the machines.
