I mounted mine on stock steel wheel and painted them black. M/T et streets come in 16in diameters.

Yes those will come very close to tucking without modification. Usually less than 3" difference between rim width and backspacing is optimal however those will be fine.

The stock steelies should be a 16x7 if I remember correctly.

Why not just find 2 stock 16x7 aluminum rims? They'll be just as cheap, lighter and easier to find.

I put em steel wheels because I had them, they are to narrow for the tire I run which is a 315/35/16 it's about 12in wide but due to the narrow wheel only about 9-10 contacts the ground. I plan on getting bigger wheels when money allows.

The wheels you were looking at will work with a 10in slick just fine. I looked at some 16x10's awhile back and they werent much more than those.

I had some 16x10s for sale for $70 plus shipping for both(2). No one wanted them though. They're back at my parent's house.
