Sorry to say but there isn't enough N2O in the world to beat a Lightning... The only thing close to winning is a Dodge.

 

I've beat one in the 1/8 with a baby shot and street tires. I want one with mods.............

I know a guy who pulled the motor/tranny/rear-end out of a Lightning and put it in his Silverado and it was still over a second slower in the quarter than a stock L. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> His excuse is that he thinks the Chevy sheetmetal isn't as aerodynamic. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />

rodney go to this site and scrole down the list and look for lightnings. click on the persons name and most of the time they will tell you there mods. this will let you know what has to be done to lightnings to run diffrent times.

just spray 150 out of the hole and pray that the other guy in the L doesnt have slicks cause then he will probably beat you.

 

Dual stage with slicks - 100 out of the hole, 100 more @ 3500 RPMs. You should last at least one run. Also, Make sure to get your bottle pressure as high as possible. 1000 psi wont cut it. Get it to 1200+ if possible. A big shot will drain pressure pretty fast, so at the end of the run, you won't be putting down the same power.

I think an L w/ drag radials and a few good mods would break into the 7s in the 1/8th. That would mean a mid / high 12 second 1/4 mile times.

 

If i have to run a Lighting with mods, does anyone know what i can spray for one pass to win.I WILL NOT BE BEAT BECOUSE I DIDN'T SPRAY ENOUGH NOS
