Default Idle oil PSI is only 34psi, even with thicker oil????

I have run M1 5-30 since I had 1,000 miles on this motor and when warm it idles at just 34psi. ALL my other GM's have idled at 40psi but this one. I recently switched over to RP 10-40 and still no change in pressure. I have logged it with HPT, so the gauge is not wrong. I have 38K on the motor now and will be putting a Radix on it when I get a chance to get home and want this motor to last.

Is this OK, or should I be worried?

I think that is just fine. That's more than enough pressure for idle. What is more of a concern is how much pressure you have at higher rpm's. You want at least 10psi per 1000rpm.

Im Running Synthetic 5-30 And Im Getting The Same.... The Reason The Oil Weight Change Didnt Change The Pressure Is Because I Believe The Relief Spring May Be Limiting It To That Pressure
