For most of us, it is a tough decision. People who think "why make a truck fast? Its heavy, and ugly and has the aerodynamics of a toaster" just cant understand it. But its a rush
. In my mind, it takes more skill (skill may be the wrong word..) to make a truck fast vs a car. You have that extra weight, worse aero's but its always fun whoopin *** in a 4000+lb beast
. I dont think most members will disagree or shudder @ the thought of gettin rid of their truck for a vette, its just for most of us, there's something about a truck.
Ya know what the song says...There's just somethan women like about'a pickup man

Depending on what kind of deal my mother gives me, I may get another 01 for my fiance. Its looking like she wont need a travel car and she has always loved driving ours.
My parents are hoping to get a couple out of the first alotment of C6's.
I loved my first C5 it was a 98 and I was a 19 year old punk. Girls absolutely loved it. It was rediculous!!
. Now Im old and attached so I prefer to be comfortable.
I dont care what "they" say, those cars are hell to get in and out of. Im 5'9 and around 240 and it is a chore.

The onlt vette i've ever driven was an 03' Z06 with an ATI on it. I met an old man at a car show in Orange Park, and just messing around i asked him if i could drive it. Holy hell he said yes! It was sweet.... Anyone live around Jax might have seen it. Its silver and was built by Hocus Pocus.
I wouldnt mind one either, just the insurance is so high and my Z28 is just as fast. Not as nice though.

I know exactly how you feel Jeff! I love my truck but I am dying to get a car. I have always wanted an f-body but after driving a C5 a while back I feel in love. It seems we are about the same size and the vette was just soo much more confortable to be in. One day...
